A gang of 10 gunmen on Sunday morning abducted the
82-year-old mother of Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the
Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, from her husband’s palace in Ogwashi-Uku,
Delta State.
The minister’s father, Prof. Chukwuka Okonjo, is the
